    Linc Navtronics GPS update

    Hi All,

I recently purchased a 2010 SANTE 230. I have the Linc GPS mapping installed with the lakes and rivers chip. I noticed this past week I am missing a few lakes. Does anyone know of a way to update the software? I asked the dealer and they where not too sure. I figured I would ask the community.

    Thanks.

A Nautique dealer? On my 2012, the software is on a SD card, all you should have to do is replace the SD card (or the content) with a newer version. There is some info on their website:

Not really (haven't look), but it is installed by the dealer (they order the region that best suit the buyer's need), so it must be accessible and not to much work (Not so sure about that....)

Hi- I am looking at doing the same thing. You can go on the Navionics site and see the various coverages and buy an SD card update- the cheapest I have found so far is about $99. Install is a little harder than it should be in my opinion. You remove the dash cover (4 screws), then remove the LINC display carefully as it has plugs in the back. Then turn the LINC glass side down and you will see four more screws that can only be accessed from the back. When you take those off, the bezel plate covering the LINC detaches. Now turn the display glass side up and you'll see the card slot.

I was told that you could update via the USB on the driver side. You will need a USB to microSD card, but I haven't done it yet.

I was looking at West Marine Eastern Version (link above)

Sorry to bring this back to life but has anyone updated their maps via SD card or USB? If so, how did it go? I am thinking of doing this as we only have Canada on our LINC but I would like US maps as we travel there too.
