BTW-Ford 351 did the trick, all boats...
No harsh feelings here... Ive got several friends with MC's and theyre good boats. They ski great, thats for sure... just wouldnt ever own one!

Yes, I agree that the 240hp Ford will get the job done in a smaller (19') boat. Ive done a fair amount of footing behind my buddy's bone stock '86 2001. It just doesnt get me quite enough speed for one-foot stuff comfortably (~41mph). I would expect the Excal powered 200 to perform similarly, based on the reports that the boat is only good for ~43mph (unloaded) with that engine. Personally, that would leave me yearning for a few more mph... but thats just me!

I don't know many that don't yearn for more MPH.

Here my last order. Got it from www.clearmask.com. This is enough to do two boats. I have not removed the film from the first boat I did. Can't imagine it causing a problem, but you could call them to make sure.

How does the orange color compare in person to the color on the web site? Darker, lighter, or identical?

Anyone know a source for black Chromax lettering instead of the std chrome? Thx.

Its a little darker. Orange Crush is a really nice color.

I would put a call in to Race City Marine to see if they can work with you on the Chromax.

I was lucky enough to see the orange CCF 196 in person, and pics don't do it justice. It's flat out awesome!

Nice looking boat once again Dave. The new owner is lucky, as you'll be handing off a pristine boat.

Thanks, I'll eventually get some pics of it on the water. Love the new stripes. Reflects the water and makes it sparkle.

I was never a huge fan of orange, but I have to agree. It can look pretty darn cool in different lights.

                            Hey Dave,
Any new pics of the boat? Is there a thread for 200 pics, looking at ordering a 200 and need ideas.
