I had previously mentioned this on another post but here's a system that I am building for my 210 with a chine/tapered transom. It will be installed and tested in the weeks to come.

I'm definitely following this one. One of the things that doesn't come up much in conversation is storage. So many of the permanent shapers are designed so that they increase the space required to store the boat by more that a foot. My interest to this specific project is because I store my 21'2" SSN in a garage that's 21'5" ... so my clearance is tight. I would be interested in seeing what your final depth looks like off of the back of the hull. If the plates/bracket/ram could be chosen to keep that measurement inside the depth required for the lifting cups on the back, that's a real improvement.

Interested in seeing it installed. I have the same boat and have been debating doing the same thing.

I will be sealing up the fasteners and wiring up the switches next weekend so hopefully I will have some in water results by then but based on some of the 'cutting board' manually operated designs that other people have tried, I expect it to behave very similarly.
The difference is that I made my tab extend diagonally like the NSS system as the boat will list and it will be more effective along the lower edge. Technically this is a diagonal 'interceptor' (see Volvo Penta/Humphree design below)

I spent many hours sealing up a couple of leaks with 4200, wasn't easy but it's done. Put in 800 bags in place of the factory tanks and gave it a test.
Works great without a lot of weight but still needs one side to be ballast full. It made some amazing clean faces both sides but the water got choppy so I couldn't get good pics. Definitely a major improvement but it didn't make a beautiful wake like a 2014 230.
Will try with more ballast when I get a chance.

Before

Keep in mind, nobody else on the boat and almost no ballast!
