It is. I Can't remember the name of the reservoir though. They had to wait till morning for the water level to pick it back up. No harm, no foul. Nothing was harmed, but maybe the prop. The hull was never damaged. Here is a picture of the bottom. I have used this boat for about 600 hrs and never had any problems running doubleups or anything else. I hope Orbiter posts something positive in the future, or works on his own issues.

Meh - yeah thats no issue really. There are a few people over at wakeboarder.com that were involved with the events of that day, including one that was on the boat before and after it was beached. I am following up with her to get the details as it has been awhile since I heard it directly from her.

From my memory, it is exactly how you said - the tide went out, they were all out drinking, and they went out to find the boat sitting as seen in the photo. They left it there knowing all would be well. The next morning they went and grabbed the boat. No harm was done to it aside from (I'd imagine) normal scuffing associated with beaching a boat and would guess light damage to her running gear. All of which I am sure was repaired long before this boat reached the owner after the Spy promo owners (that owner would appear to be you).

As for the subject of Orbiter inquiring about whether or not it is the same boat - this is a community - if someone spots something worth being raised, thats what sites like this are for. The photos of the beached SPY SAN are all over the Web, it was just a matter of time I'm afraid to say.

Boat is nice. Super cool color combo. Nice add-ons. Classic boat. Beaching it didn't destroy it or anything even close.
