Just curious Scott, why do you think the 97-2001 skis better than the 02 and above boats. I'm interested in your comments. (I've heard the same thing elsewhere but no one ever gives specifics.)

Good luck on selling your boat. That vintage SN is awesome.

All you have to do is ski behind a 97-99, then behind a 2000 - up. At 15, 22 off - Big Difference, 28 and shorter very little. The Tracking is Awesome driving all years but the Tuneable Rudder on newer models is liked by some Tournament drivers. Electronic Dash and keyless ignition on 2000-2001 models troublesome and Bow of 2002-2004 sits much deeper in the water than previous models. If you have a bunch of extra cash buy a new one, but the 97-99 Ski Nautique Closed bows with low hours and in great shape cannot be beat for value and Overall Owner Satisfaction.....

          Scott,
I can't totally agree with your comments there. The SN had the same hull from 1997-2001. There is no difference in the way they ski.

I agree SN, I have had 15 Nautiques, one 1997 SN, one- 1998 SN, two- 2002 SN's and for the models between 1997-2001 there is no difference. The bow does carry water over the windshield in the 2002+ hulls if you have fat folks up in the front seats and don't pay attention to the wake when you come back through it. I love the wake on any of the Ski N. above 1997 because they are awesome. I have access to a 1998 and 1999 Ski Nautique to slalom, but have a SV-211 coming in this week otherwise I would have not wanted to sell the 2002.
