I have one of these for sale as I am upgrading to StarGazer.

I hope "east tx skier" isn't offended if I nick a few lines of his ad placed at the beginning of the year.

The complete system was purchased in 2005 and has worked faultlessly.

I'm selling only the Master Module, which contains the Digital Pro 6.5 ng chip (for use with the larger display). With this piece, a buyer should be able to put together a complete system for much less than retail.

But please note, this is only the master module and chip.

I've also got the original "Operation & Installation Instructions" dated January 2005

Did you perform the upgrade yourself? And if so - how hard was it? I assume you have a DBW boat.

I'm doing the upgrade today but it's only a swap of the control module and add the GPS wire. So couldn't be simpler.

Mine's an older boat so all mechanical but as far as I know it's still just a module swap. Just a different module that's all.

I have a 2007 LTD with the Faria gauges so I might have more issues. But then again maybe I just grit my teeth and jump in the deep end. Thanks for the feedback.

Just a module and gps antenna. That's it. Easy install.

I and another person have been having system save issues with our V8 update. However, after speaking to Gary this afternoon, I'm confident that will be a non issue by next week. They've got a new way of saving info on the horizon.
