This is a great 196 Ski Nautique! Best Colors of the 90's
Fly High Pole is great for air chair and Wakeboarding, has Perfect Pass, AM/FM Stereo and Bimini Top! This boat is in great condition. We skied the boat this week, cleaned it, covered, and started using our 2007 SV211 Nautique! So this boat is ready for a great new owner. I had no intention of purchasing a new boat, just happened. This is the third Nautique I have owned since 1990. I maintained this boat with every intention to keep it, the plan was to keep for ten plus years like my last (1984). We purchased the boat a year ago and have skied 100 hours on it. The previous owner used the boat in West Virgina on a beautiful fresh water river, he worked for the government and was transferred overseas, as he did not want to part from this boat either. I had looked for a good fresh water boat.
It cranks at the turn of the key, and runs great. It has the PCM GT-40 EFI 310HP 5.8L engine. Arguably the best ski boat motor ever. Motor just had oil change, tran fluid change, new plugs, plug wires, fuel filter, cap, rotor, water impeller, and belts. The exhaust manifolds and risers were just redone. The block was replaced at 450 hours because of a bad spark plug. New block has 350 hours on it. This motor runs great!
Just installed a brand new depth finder. I am including a new mirror with this deal. Extra four blade prop included. The three blade on the boat gets amazing gas mileage. We run with a sister boat, and get almost one and a half times the gas mileage that they do with their four blade. Hull is in great condition, looks like it is wet, there are a few scratches hear and there. The trailer is correct craft 1992 galvanized, and the tires have no mileage and were replaced a couple of years ago. All running lights work on the trailer, and the wiring was just replaced front to back. The interior seats in the boat are in decent condition. There are a few small nicks. The drivers seat bottom is pulling at the stitch seam (you can see in the picture), this is normal for this year boat for some reason. The passenger seat bottom was replaced.
At slalom speeds this boat produces a nice small wake for the slalom skiers, and when at wakeboard speeds, it produces a killer wake for getting some airtime. I also have a boom for the boat if someone is interested.
This boat does not disappoint! I will meet with anyone and make you comfortable with this transaction.
