Has the boat always been stored outdoors? What happened to the center cap on the steering wheel?

Sure has lots of rust on fasteners and misc. steel items. Are you sure this boat has never been in salt water?

Still have a nice boat for 30K. Might need a couple thousand in repairs.

it looks like it was definitely used in at least brackish water.

yeah the boat has spent all of its life outdoors. But as you can see it was covered most of the time. Don't know what happened to the center cap.

I would like to know what you consider a lot of rust. It's a 5 year old boat. I don't consider a spot in the glove box from a misc. tool and discolored spots on the exhaust to be a lot of rust, which is all the "rust" I can find. I don't know what fasteners you are talking about. Yes I am sure it has only been in fresh water, not even brackish!

Very true, minus the couple of thousands in repairs. I would say maybe $1,000 would put this boat in show room condition.

I don't want to sound rude but lets remember folks it is a used boat, at an amazing price!

The rack steering/box on the helm is rusted pretty bad. The bolts on the battery cables are rusted. I am not trying to tear it apart, but you are advertizing it to a large audience here. I would hate for someone to buy it kansas and get it home to find it had actually spent some time in brackish or salt.

perhaps it spent a bit of time on the coast and fell victim to some "brackish humidity"? pretty sure all of that could be knocked off with 10 mins of work with steel wool.....

I'm gonna vote NO on the brackish, instead it sits outdoors in the FL humidity.
