I have known the boats history since day one. NEVER been in anything but fresh water! It has been outside since 2004, spent most of the last 1.5 years on a boat lift over water. I figured that is normal wear and tear, there is nothing excessively worn/rusted anywhere. This boat is not a gem that has never been used, it has been used, and while not that much, it has still has wear and tear. I am not trying to rip anyone off (as I believe in karma) just trying to get as best pics as possible and describe it the best of my knowledge and hook someone up with a sweet boat. I would 100% buy this thing in a heart beat if I could afford to.
Don't know why the baffles are like that

Hey guys,
I came from across the country and looked at this boat last weekend and this is what I found. First off, if it were local and I didn't have to ship it I would buy it in a heartbeat.
The boat is definitily not in perfect condition and is reflected in the price. That being said this is what I saw.
Exterior - Decals are shot on both sides and will need replacing. They got torn up navigating the Orlando Canals. The gel around the decals is mostly in good shape. and shouldn't need too much work. Rub rail, will need to be replaced (unless you can live with a dinged up rub rail) Around the gas tank area there is some decent cracking from what looks like a good dock check. This will need to be wet sanded and possibly re-sprayed with gel.
Interior - a few nicks in the vinyl and a few small tears in places, also needs a serious scrub down and vacuum, but in pretty decent shape. The helm seems to be loose, which would take a little tinkering with. Stereo works, but the tower speakers and 4of the 6 interior speakers are not working (not wired) as well as the tower lights too. The amp is corroded and I don't know if it works still. The balast works just fine as do the balast gauges. The boat drives like expected. There were no problems and the wake looked like the standard amazind SAN wake. Only problem was some pretty serious porposing around 37 MPH +, but most all SAN's do that at speed anyway.
Engine - This was what I thought was interesting and this is strictly opinion, as I am no expert. I think the boat has sat underwater for some period of time. whether it was partially sunk or the Bilge pump wasn't working while it was stored on the water (the ladder is the most likely) it has accumulated quite a bit of corrosion on the motor mounts, and other hardware in the bilge. As this really isn't a big problem, because the engine runs strong and the corrosion seems to be cosmetic (unless it goes unaddressed for some time longer)
Overall, I think this boat is in the right price range. If you think you are going to get a perfect condition '04 SAN 210 then you are crazy. THis could be an awesome boat if someone is willing to put some time into it.
Again, I am a 3rd party and just happend to be in Orlando this last weekend vacationing, and wanted to check out the boat for myself. If you have any q's pm me.
Brian, thanks for showing it. I wish I could get it but after shipping I would lose the "deal" factor. Good luck, you shouldn't have a hard time sellingif con is the opposite of pro, is congress the opposite of progress???

I don't doubt that a bit. Like I said I would have picked it up after last weekend if shipping was a little more affordable. Good luckif con is the opposite of pro, is congress the opposite of progress???

I am not one to bring up an old thread, but I have a question. I found this boat on Craiglist and OnlyInboards:
http://albanyga.craigslist.org/boa/2208047518.html
http://www.onlyinboards.com/Details.aspx?ID=27534
Do you think its the same boat? The decals are off, but according to someone who looked at the boat originally, they were really beat up and needed to be removed. Clearly its the same color scheme, the trailer looks the same, even the placement of the Florida reg sticker looks the same.
I just want to make sure and not waste my time since I live a decent ways from Georgia.
Thanks!
