WANTED - ELECTRIC MOTOR FOR BOAT LIFT

Anyone know where to get a good deal on an electric motor for a boat lift? I have a shorestation but would like a motor for it, however, I would prefer not to pay the $550-650 for one...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We have a local elect moter guy in town that deals with Fans and Moters for dairy farms. I paid 200 last summer to replace mine.

RE: WANTED - ELECTRIC MOTOR FOR BOAT LIFT

I found a local (Orlando) industrial electric motor supplier, and bought a HD outdoor rated motor for about 180.00. It is a similar motor as used for grain elevators. I have had this motor in use for about 6 years w/o a problem.
