    2003 206 Air Signature

Kids are off to college and so goes our time on the boat....

After reading many of the posts by members and also knowing how ya'll take care of your boats I would say this boat is in "very nice" condition. The interior has no rips, tears, stains of any kind. The carpet has been protected by newer Nautique floor mats. At a close look the trailor has some wear on the paint and a few scratches but overall looks very sharp.

I have always kept the boat waxed and the interior cleaned and protected with Maguire's protectant.

The boat runs flawless with 305 hours. I went with the 5.0 for fuel efficiency and no regrets. We ride all day on a half tank. I also pull my sons friends who can weigh more than 260 lbs. (They're also great ballast

I have it fully serviced every year with a new impeller in August 2008. With the hours we ride annually, not sure why I do this but i guess it's $200 well spent...

This was a dream come true having owned two Nautiques ( prior 81' 2001 restored) and now it's time to move on. I am offering the boat for $34,000.

Seen some SANTE 210's 2002's for less with more. Very, very nice boat in great condition!!!! Certainly not saying that it's not worth it, but it's just a rough market.

First of all, it's been 4 days since you posted this, so give it a little time. The only way that you're going to sell it more quickly is if you list it for a "fire sale" price, which it isn't. Second, I'm not saying that the price you have it listed for is not fair, but maybe a touch high based on what I'm seeing in the market at this point in time. My opinion is to take a look on Boat Trader to get some comparables and determine yourself whether or not the price is reasonable.

Thanks to you all for the compliments and recomendations. Sorry about no keypad. That was a numbskull move on my part...While I am in no way ready to "fire sell it" I would like to get some offers. I'll try and be a little more patient. As MHayes suggests I'll do some looking around on Boat Trader.

            PS

We had it out today...I say this everytime I go - "Wow Nautique makes great boats!!"

Don't be sorry...there are many who would prefer NOT to have the keypad.

I like the keypad as long as it works....already replaced one under warranty, though.

Is this boat still for sale? It's a long way from Michigan to California, but ....

Yes, the boat is still for sale. I apologize for the lack attention i have given this...I have been on a hectic travel schedule. The boat is in fantastic condition and is a blast to drive, ride and ski behind. I neglected to mention the heater system which is a big necessity for the Michigan region.

I really don't know anything about transporting the boat across country but i'm sure there are many on this site who could help us and approximate the cost for doing so...Anyone, anyone?

Eitherway, we can work it in the price some how. Or, if your interested in the 2001 Toyota Seqouia for a great price you could tow it home and maybe hit Lake Powel on the way.

Great looking boat, I love the color scheme. It may be a little overpriced though. I bought an '07 Limited 206 w/ 70 Hrs. for $27K last year. I know that was a great deal, but I'm thinking you may get more interest around 29-30K, especially in this economy. My other suggestion is expand your advertising if you haven't already. I just sold a MC and advertised it on Only Inboards, Boat Trader, and Craigs List, I got a lot of inquiries from all over the place. I ended up selling to someone in Canada.

Thanks for the insight. I will follow your suggestion. I was on Craig's list then for some reason the placement was gone...Weird. I have heard from several that the boat Trader is a great place to get looks and offers...I also thave the boat on Correct Craft Fan.com.

                        Thanks!

My other suggestion is to be careful on Craigs List, there are a lot of scammers on that site for some reason.

Boat Trader is good and has a powerful search tool. In addition, for description searches, you should put in good keywords and sentences like: I love this Nautique by Correct Craft much more than the other inboards like x, y, and z. Pulls like a dream compared to inboard / outboards like a, b, and c.

Great advice! For some reason here in California we have more awareness around Malibu's than Nautiques or Master Crafts...I had some guy leave me an e-mail from Correct Craft fan .com and asked "how these boats compare to Malibu - are they as good..?" I was kind of perplexed and almost speechless.

                              I'm on it!

                              Thanks again.
