Spare parts for 2003 nautique w/330 excalibur engine

Change is hard. There will be pros and cons to the 200 vs. 196...and the observations being made in this thread match my experience.

CC had effectively perfected the slalom machine with the 196...and the TSC / 196 concept dates to 1997 - over 10 years! It was time for CC to do something new.

Plus, the 206 just didn't take off like CC wanted - to compete w/ the 197 and Lxi.

So the "compromise" to meet market demand for a bigger boat and still remain a true 3 event boat was to merge the 206 and 196 models.

In the end, CC exists to make money, and if that means making a gourment burger out of a sacred cow, then the 196 had to make way for innovation.

Will it make CC more money? Almost certainly.

Will it be the best 3 event boat? Time will tell.

Will the 196 become a classic model that is in high demand for current owners? Almost certainly.

Will the 200 improve over time? I hope so.
Working...
