For Sale - 2007 216 Team (bought 2008)

This is a day I have been dreading for the past 2 months....my family has decided to put our boat up for sale. Our boys have gotten heavily into men's volleyball, and we are starting to see our time spent traveling and at practices. So, the boat is just not being used.

This boat is a 2007 216 Team Edition. However, we purchased it in early 2008....so it's only had 2 summers of use....and this year, not much. There are only 63.9 hours on the boat....so it's got very low hours. It has the standard 5.7 V8 343 hp PCM Excalibur engine...with the team prop. This boat was purchased form n3boatworks here in Indianapolis, and they have done all the service work....I am sure that if you called them, they would be more than happy to give you any information on the maintenance work.

This boat has all of the Team items including the ballast. The only thing it doesn't have is the extra bass speaker under the passenger's seat....we use that for storage. The boat does however include an over the tower bimini, tandem axel (2008 Ramlin) trailer, bow cover, and a custom cover. I can give you a full list of specs if needed.....

I posted this here and sent it out to many friends and contacts. But I am also going to post on a couple other "used boat" sites. I am thinking Craig's List and perhaps another like BoatTrader. Any suggestions on other options besides BoatTrader?

I will confer, Boat Trader and Only inboards are very good sites. Also Ski it Again is also good. Craigs list gets alot of exposure but there are also a lot of scammers there for some reason.

Reducing Price down to $49,500.00. Going to winterize and put into storage next week.

not trying to hate but, you're still higher than other '07's by $7,000 and they haven't sold either. I haven't compared the boats spec for spec but you may want to wait until spring at this point

Thanks for you input. I know that I am on the high side right now. But, I am getting a few inquiries here and there. I think that spring will be better, but we'll see what happens.

It's getting winterized and going into storage next week, so summer is officially over for us....

Got the boat all tucked in for the winter. But it's being stored close to home this year for a change. Didn't have to haul it down south to store at my parents. Almost a swap for the storage price versus the cost of the gas to get it down, and then get it back....not quite, but close.

Now I just have to get in gear to get all the ropes, jackets, skis, boards, etc moved up into storage at the house. Lots of trips up and down the stairs....

Spring is here, boat is out of storage and ready for the water.....but, volleyball is still a full time gig for our family. So, I have reduced the price down to $49,000 and updated the OnlyInboards site.

Hope everyone's spring is going great.....weather is a bit iffy here in central Indiana....80+ one week....barely 50 degs the next. Oh well.....

Looks like some warm weather has made all the difference on my boat sales effort. I have had 6 different calls expressing interest this week. Of course, one of those was a scammer....but, 5 is still encouraging anyway....
