12 VDC replacment for T-H Valves

For Sale (3) ASCO 12 VDC low amp 3/4" NC valves to replace T-H Marine valves.

I just bought a 2008 SANT 230 and no longer need these new valves. They were purchased for my 2003 AN 226 as a winter upgrade. Brand new in the box that will replace the T-H Marine valves thus eliminating the manual helm control. Many people on this site know what I am talking about. The new valve is wire parallel to the fill pump and opens only during fill. They are low amps draw so no relays are required. I paid over $130 each. Make me an offer as I have no use for them.

Are these ignition protected?

Encapsulated coil

Honestly I do not know, maybe you can Google the part number. I was not worried about the rating since they have an encapsulated coil. The pump is more likely to make a spark than an encapsulated coil. They are the same as a buddy of mine used in his 05 211 and he got the part number on this site somewhere? They are what they are; I would just try a search for the number. 8210P095 12VDC.

it's ignition protected if you wire it through a switched curcuit. The valve it's self has nothing to do with that it has to do with the way it is wired so it will work with the key on or key off.

Ignition protected has been shown around here to refer to a device's property of not igniting gaseous vaoprs as in an engine compartment or in a bilge. In lesser words, an explosionproof device. No one really cares how someone wires something, it is wether or not is it safe.

If you check the link for the valve data I posted you will see it is listed as "explosionproof"

That is all I can offer.

I do agree with TRDon, the rating is for the device, provided it is correctly installed. The installation alone does not make it "ignition protected"
