They had a 2005 226 that was a salt water boat

That's part of it.but the first boat I bought was not a salty.But we were not informed of the true condition of certain things.

Miami SN has to be one of the best dealers out there. Not sure what happened in your case, but I have had nothing but excellent dealings with them. I have gotten to know the owner and would be glad to put you in touch with him if needed. He does a lot for the skiing community and I have never heard a bad word said about them.

Brandon Cruse from central ky inboards has taken me out on demos in two different nautiques he had for sale. One was a saltwater boat and he represented it as a saltwater boat and told me what to expect. He also told me that is why they cost considerably less than a freshwater nautique. He advised and sent me pics of the smallest scratches and blemishes the boats had before I drove to see them. What issue(s) did you have or how did he misrepresent a boat to you to make you post this on planet nautique? He has dozens of satisfied customers many of which have testimonials on his site.

I am a wakeboard and boating enthusiast looking to buy a boat for my family and myself to enjoy on the water. I occasionally refer to this site for information and try to obtain information from knowledgeable persons to try to decide which nautique would best fit my families current and future needs before I purchase one..

Well, I joined in 2003 so I have been lurking/contributing for 6.5 years now. I don't think there is much question about who I am and what my motives are.

First post first day and sign on to defend a post. That is fishy in itself. Claiming lurking for occasional information before making a large purchase and not signing on to ask questions about that purchace but instead to defend a post as your first sounds not only fishy, but a cover. I question who you are and your reason that this is your first post as well. It looks suspicious like a dealer pretending to make up a bunch of good to try to neutralize a bad comment. JMO.

I agree with you on the principle AuMDLST but unfortunately it's not always that simple. How many boats can you go and inspect when the closest is 1000 miles away and the second closest 1000 miles in the other direction?!

We all try to make the best out of the situation we have and fortunately this site is a big help in establishing the credibility (or absence thereoff) of the few people who sell wakeboard boats. That's why some of us share our experiences here.

I have sold boats out of my area and I have bought several higher end cars myself from other states. How much is a plane ticket compared to the cost of these toys? I'd rather spend the $200-300 to go see it if I am going to spend $30-40k.

There is a lot more to this story. I have heard the other side. Of course, it is difficult to please everyone, but I would not hesitate to buy anything from Miami SN.
