1978 Correct Craft Ski Nautique For sale $6500

Great wake board/Slalom boat for the money. It throws up a perfect wake for all riders that want to wake board and a small wake if you want to slalom. Engine is perfect I take it out almost every weekend (in the on season) and it runs awesome. I will try and list everything it has

    1978 Correct Craft Ski Nautique

    Motor

351 PCM stock hp rating is 240 hp with the four barrel holley carb and upgraded edelbrock intake I would rate it around 250hp. The engine was rebuilt in 2005 along with the transmission. Since rebuild my best guess would be 150 hrs on rebuilt drive train. Summer of 2009 had major tune up including new Flywheel

    Interior

Redone in 2005 I would rate it 9.5/10 except the back seat I had the back seat made by sugar house awnings in May of 2008. I bought it without a back seat so I had a custom one made.

    Trailer

LED trailer lights. 3 markers on each side each have 6 LED's and two trailer LED's on the back each have 15 LED's so total is 66 LED's. It has 18 inch wheels tires have a lot of tread left. Brand new axle and hubs last summer.

    Stereo system

Panasonic deck MP3/CD player with Ipod cable and remote. Tower speakers by infinity with microphone so you can yell across the lake or at your friend if he wont go big. There is also 4 marine infinity speakers inside the boat.

    Batteries

Two Optimas one yellow top one blue top with a battery switch.

    Extras

Snap cover done by Sugar house

    Tsunami Tower

Fly High Fat Sack with pump

    Straight line Rope 65'

    Automatic bilge pump

    Depth finder

    Prop puller

    Extra prop

I guarantee you won't find a better Wake board/Ski boat for the price. Boat is solid and does everything a new boat will for a fraction of the cost. Look around at other Wake board/Ski boats in the same price range they simply don't compare, Unless their a Nautique.

Very clean looking ride. I could see a SANTE behind that truck!

Well, since you asked... I think your starting price is about $1k too high. Anyone interested in a wakeboard boat will prefer a 2001 hull, and those can be had very reasonably right now. Anyone looking for a vintage 2nd gen Ski Nautique will be turned off by the tower, graphics, and other non-original parts. I think you'll need to price it more aggressively to attract serious interest. Just my 2 cents!

I think it will go for my asking price around May/June. I will create a new listing with more updated pictures and information. I was just testing the water.

There is a 77 for 10k on CCF.

If no one is serious, I will keep it another season.

Also I have hit a couple sets behind a 2001 hull, I am not a pro but I didn't notice any significant difference.

Like I said, it was just my opinion- and you did ask if the price was reasonable. If the guy selling his '77 for $10k asked if his asking price was reasonable, my response would be a little harsher! $6000-7500 is the going rate for a pristine, original example. Yours doesnt fall into that category. Instead its a wake machine... nothing wrong with that, but it does put it up against the 2001 hull, which is significantly bigger and which has a much better reputation for throwing a great wakeboarding wake. Youve said on several occasions that you want a fair, reasonable price that would have the boat sell relatively quickly in order for you to upgrade. I just dont think your current asking price falls into that category. If it did, the boat would have sold last year when you had it listed. Again, just my opinion- because you asked!

The boat was pretty much sold in June of last year, but I kept it because I put 2k into it the week before I received the offer.

No hurry unless the right boat comes along.

                I guess we will see.
