2000 Super Air Nautique - Socal area

I am selling my 2000 SAN - I am the third owner and have all the service records from the dealer(California Correct Craft) I just had my annual service done and everything was checked out fine. I will include the following items - trailer with new tires installed last year including the spare. The boat has dual batteries that were installed last year. I have the rear factory ballast, oar, life vest's, fire ext, three fat sacks and pump, Fuzion tower speakers, clario stereo, two Alpine amps with polk interior speakers, two bazooka speakers in the rear, depth finder. The tower is the factory tower. This is a V-drive boat with 199 hours. I will continue to ride until sold and do not exspect to go past 220 hours. I ride about every other weekend for about 4 hours - I only ride, ride, ride and then call it a day. I do not do much pleasure boating, reason for the low hours. I live in Socal - Lake Elsinore and about 5 minutes from the lake. It has never been in salt water and I have taken excellant care of the boat. The interior has been replaced last year. I had 2 very minor tears - smaller than 2 inches. But since the color would not match I had the seats re-done. I also have a bimini top, boat cover, bow cover. I will also include a wakeboard with bindings, wake surf, ropes, handle. The tower has a wake surf rack and wakeboard racks for upto four wakeboards. I also have the extra launch seat.
As you know one of the best wakes on the lake - I will include all items above. So you can be ready to ride.
No BS emails - I am only selling the boat because my kids are at that age where they want to be with friends more than dad. I have the title in hand - If you want to check it out we can go to the lake for a ride or even a session. serious inq.
Asking $26,900 - firm. I have taken care of the boat and have all service records.
    Thanks
    Steve

Still for sale - just replace the digital gauges to the Faria Gauges and installed a new battery.

      Lowered Price $25,900

I lowered the price to $25,900 let me know if I am priced right. I just talked to the dealer today - and prefer not to lose on a 10% consignement fee. Total hours as of 7-21-10 is 201.8 hours.

      Thanks
      Steve

I prefer to hold on to the jump/launch seat. If I don't sell it - it is nice to use in the boat. If I do sell it and they don't want it - I will let you know. I did see one on Ebay - but they were asking well over 350.00 which I think is crazy.

                  Bimini

Good looking boat! What brand is the bimini and how much did it cost? Thanks, good luck with the sale.

A boat is worth what you can get for it, so I'm not too big on commenting on the price. Not even sure if this boat is for sale. But since you asked, I beleive the price is high. For a 2000, I'd be surprised if you got 25,900 for the boat. If you did, it would have to be perfect. You replaced the seats, but not with factory skins, or skins from Christine's. The swimstep is dul and faded. That's what I can see from the photos. Although it appears to be a very nice boat, in person I would guess I could find other things wrong with it. Also, I believe the boat has more hours than you are stating. I know you recently replaced with Faria guages. However, the gauges you showed in these pictures were also replacements. They have silver rings. The orignials would have been black. Thus, the boat has at least the 197 hours shown on those gauges, plust whatever were on the originals. Since there were two owners before you, no telling how many times they were replaced. Mine were replaced 4 times I believe before I finally went with farias.

Again, nice boat. Doesn't appear to be anything wrong with it, but I beleive the price would be on the high end of the spectrum in the current market.

Free advice. Take it for what it is worth.

Reply to previous email - a lot of good info and nothing badgering. I was a little high because I exspect someone to low ball and the boat is not a financial burden. I took it to the local CC dealer and they directed me to a local upholstery dealer that they send thier work to. And they did a great job. I know nothing about skins or factory seat cushions after being 10 years old. I did what I thought would be the right thing to do was ask the CC dealer. On the hours I am only going on the truth and honesty of the previous sellers and the dealer. This is from the paper work, my use and the last owner. I have all the work orders for all the work done on the boat. I feel confident on the wear and tear to be what the hours are. The swim step needs to be re-stained - which I am planning to do in the spring. I sanded it down due to wake board scuffs.
I am lowering the price to - $24,250 and see what happens. I will take offers but again it does not hurt me to keep it. I love the boat and enjoy it.
                      Many Thanks -

I think you've got an awesome looking boat with low hours and a lot of extras. I think I would pay $23,000 if everything is working the way it should and looks as good in person! By the way did you sell it yet? I bought a 2000 SAN for $20,000 but it needed a lot of TLC.
