2003 210 Swimstep..Teak for composite?

I know this is a long shot, but I have been thinking about trading out my teak step for fiberglass. I don’t know what the price difference is, but I assume the teak is worth more and I would be willing to do a straight trade. I would prefer a white, black or red step.


My step is in excellent condition and has always been cared for. The step has never been a victim of paint, varnish, bedliner or any other crimes against teak. It is coming off a 2003 210 and I know it will fit any 210 up to 2006. I have also heard it will fit most models around that year. I can send measurements and quality pictures to anyone interested.

Thanks ers! Anyone know if this a realistic trade or is teak no longer sought after. Anyone knows what the price difference is between teak and fiberglass new. I purchased my boat used. Although I respect the teak, fiberglass is more my style.

I saw new swim decks for nautiques here... Made specifically for nautiques. Good price reference at least.

I'm not sure where to find pricing on fiberglass platforms.

Here are some pictures. One picture is after a coat of teak oil, the rest of the pics were taken straight off the boat. I could not find any thing else wrong with the step except the two small nicks pictured.

I have an interested party, so the step is off the market unless the deal falls through.

Before you sell it, be sure to trace the outline on butcher paper, and take measurements in case you want to have a fiberglass step fabricated.

Thanks ers, but I'm looking to trade my platform for a Nautique fiberglass step and they should be the same size.

I'm in Orange County / Los Angeles. I was planning on shipping my step first so the fiberglass step can be sent back in the same packaging. I'm also not trading the brackets (should be the same) to save on shipping weight. I'm still waiting to hear back from the guy who contacted me first.
