    89 Sport Nautique

Need to sell my 89 Sport as we have a baby on the way. Very nice boat. I would give it an 8 out of 10 overall. The interior is original and in good shape. One small tear and a few minor spots. The carpet is original as well and matted after 20+ years, but still looks decent, no tears. The exterior is good and shiny. One small chip about the size of a pea on the corner of the swim platform. Has 351W with about 550 hours on it. Upgraded Acme 541 prop gives it an nice hole shot and good top end speed. Also replace the stereo with a Pioneer head unit with CD player. It also has an iPod jack and is satelite ready. Also a marine 4 channel amp and 4 Polk 651's. No tower, but will include my extended pylon with board racks and 2 fat saks. Sitting on a Correct Craft single axle trailer, no breaks, rewired with LED lights all around.

I bought the boat from the original owner in 07 and have loved owning it, but with the baby one the way, we will use it less than we do now. I am in Jonesboro, AR 72401. I would deliver up to 100 miles for free. After that we can discuss.

Price is firm at $7000 as you and I both know this is a great price.

That's a great price indeed. Good luck with the sale. And congrats with the baby!

Adam, it sounds like your boat has a 1:1 tranny in it? Not very common for an '89. If thats true, it also has a non-original LH motor if its turning a LH prop, correct?

No, it has the 1.23:1 Power Plus trans. I upgraded the prop about two years ago and maybe I got the numbers wrong. It is a LH motor, but RH prop. I will double check the numbers on the prop and update the post.

        Thanks

Ahh, that makes sense too. The 541 is a 1:1 LH prop (13x12)... its the mirror image of the 540. If its an Acme, the 422, 470, 1442, 612 and 654 would have been the most common 1.23 props a few years ago.
