    Ram-Lin Trailer Prop Guard

I replaced the prop guard on my Ram-Lin trailer with one with casters. I have the old one if anyone is interested. It could use some paint on the bottom, where it has rubbed a few times. Gloss black spray paint would do the trick. I will take some pictures of it and post them tomorrow. The color is black.

$100.00 obo and probably will not ship due to the weight of it. I travel Alabama and could meet if interested.

Here are some pictures of what the new prop guard wheels look like. The U shaped bracket has been welded in at the bottom corners, with a hole on the outside and a nut welded on the inside to accept the bolt through the wheel.

Here are the pictures of the prop guard that is for sale. I had some black trailer paint left and I painted it. It was not in bad shape, but the bottom was a little scraped up from use. If there are any questions please let me know. This would make a cheap project for someone who wanted to convert it to one with wheels or to replace one that was in bad shape. Would be willing to trade up or down for something boat related. Examples would be extra ballast bags, surf board or other gear. Let me know.

Please forgive the yard work in the background and the crappy cell phone pictures. I am in the middle of a home remodel and the rain has kept me from completing the yard.

They are better than the concrete killer steel wheels for sure, being that they are more of a hard plastic. I have not moved it from my garage since I put them on, so hopefully they will hold up.

The wheels are from midwest caster in Cinci OH. Just make sure you get the delrin (sp) bearings.

I have not measured, but I bet these are the same exact wheels. http://midwestcaster.thomasnet.com/i...001029|3001021

Funny, cause they cost me roughly $65 bucks for the wheel kit from Ram-Lin. This included 2 wheels and the bolts. I wish I would have figured this out a few weeks ago.

I dont think those are the wheels. The ones I ordered were green and XI-04251-12. There number is 513-821-8230.

The ones Ram-Lin sent me were the black nylon ones like in the picture. Lets see how they hold up.
