The boat has 1,000 hours on it, but is in great condition. I doubt you can find a cleaner 2006 SAN anywhere. Not a scratch on the hull anywhere. The boat has Perfect Pass and three hard tanks.

I bought the boat new in 2006 and planned to keep it forever; however, after breaking my ankle I am thinking about selling it. I just ordered new interior skins from Correct Craft through my dealer, but they have not been installed and don't really need to yet. I'm just anal about my stuff. One seat has a small pin hole and a small 1/2 inch cut in it.

The boat has been maintained at Century Marine every year and I change the oil every 100 hours, sometimes sooner if we are going on a big trip (Lake Powell). This is NOT a club boat or anything else like that. Over the last five years we averaged 44 Saturdays at the lake a year. It has seen Lake Powell at least for a week every year and sometimes two to three. The boat has never been in salt water. The boat is perfect. It also has some very unique features that the trained SAN connoiseur will spot. Drop me an email or PM if want to know more.

$36,000 is my pay off so the price is firm. Price includes tandem axle trailer, about ten life vests, a box anchor, three props (ACME 1579, 1631, and I think 381), four speaker 6x9 fiberglass tower speaker box, 1 PDX Alpline PDX 4.150, and a bunch of other miscellaneous gear. The trailer has high miles, but has been maintained well. It could use either wet sanding or paint. I replaced the bearings, rotors, and brakes last season.

My Skylon connector broke so I have a temporary fix until I can find who makes the connector.

Why did you let the oil stay in so long? It should have been changed every 50 hours.

Not according to my dealer.

I would venture to guess that the oil was changed every 50 hours since it was changed before every Powell trip, during the Annual Service, and at 100 hour mark.

In fact, I have been to Powell 10 times in the last five years, had five annual services, and 10 100 hour services, which makes 25 oil changes. 1000 hours divided by 25 oil changes is 40 hours. The hundred mark was just easiest way for me to keep track. I use the boat and it doesn't around collecting dust. With all the other boats on the market I doubt it will sell anyhow.

You are more than welcome to come and check the boat out yourself or call my dealer. You will not find a cleaner '06, I'll bet money on it.

I think they call them "cups". They stop exhaust gases from coming up through the platform where the lifting rings are. At least that is what I am told.

My 05 has those as well. They cover the lifting eyes on the back of the boat. Not sure what purpose they serve, but they make a great place to store the plug, plus an extra one just in case. Not sure they do anything for the exhaust.

With all the other boats on the market I doubt it will sell anyhow.

Your post sure is getting a lot of action though.

By the way, I forgot to mention that the boat is plumbed and wired for a heater. I didn't want to chop up the interior so I built a box to house a 3 port heatercraft heater. I only use it in the winter, otherwise I just loop the heater hoses. The heater has two pull out vents and one directional port.

I'll try to post some additional pictures later this week. I thunk I have a few of the bilge and storage areas, both are spotless. Any requests? The boat is stored at my warehouse (about 50 miles away in Cave Creek), so I won't be able to fill any requests until next Saturday.

A local guy here made and sold the brackets for the remote and ignition switch before CC told him to stop. Normally on a Signature Series you just have a plastic bezel with the key and a warning about something or other. I wanted a Signature Series for simplicity reasons. My buddy seems to have problems with his keypad.

It is solid aluminium. The guy also built my wakeboard racks. They were originally "not finished" and were suppose to have a rubber padding strip in the middle of them. I never brought them back to his shop after the initial fit test. Instead I put "pipe insulation" from Home Depot around the "tongs". This creates a tight fit where the boards don't rattle or want to fall out, so no straps are necessary. I have to replace the pipe insulation every now and again. They could look better too, but I'm a function over form guy.

This is the only old style SAN that I have seen with no "pin stripe tape" on it, all the gel coat lines are almost perfect and not "fuzzy".

Here is one of the storage compartments. It has one new brand new battery, the other was still fine. You can see where I recently moved the Perko switch when I installed the new battery.


BTW, maybe I am just crazy, but I have never seen another two color SAN where the red stripe extends around to the back of the boat. All the others I have seen stop at the sides. I think this is a special boat, everything is perfect.

nice. for what its worth i love my keypad, but im sure everyone does unless they have issues with them ...

very nice. my pin stripe is not currently on, but i wouldnt consider the gel coat lines to be anywhere near perfect

the stripe on my 03 goes around the back like yours does too ... again, very nice boat and good luck with sale
