You have a colored hull. On the all white boats none have the stripe in back.

I have had a couple of questions:

          1. Regarding the skins - The interior is in pretty darn good shape for being five years old and used every weekend. Someone put a tiny hole in the observer's seat that really made me mad!

So I ordered all new skins except for the bow, which are still in perfect condition. If the buyer wants I will have them installed on my dime, otherwise the buyer can just take the skins and install them when the interior gets bad. The skins were ordered through my dealer and are from Correct Craft.

          2. The trailer is made by a local manufacturer (Randall's VIP Trailers) and is in good shape. It could use polishing or sanding, it does have some oxidation on it. It also has a folding tongue. This is the only picture I have of the tongue and it is somewhat old. I have replaced the safety cables, the wiring harness "loom" or cover, and the winch strap. They are all about 8 months old now. I also just replaced the front bow roller, the old one was rubber and kept leaving a black mark on the boat. I replaced it with one of those harder clear yellow plastic jobs from the local marine store (in fact, the picture is from when I replaced it).

The trailer is made of heavy walled "C" channel and will not rust out. The only tubing on the trailer is the part is that you see in the above picture.

If anyone else has questions I will try to answer them as soon as possible.

          Thanks!

WW! The guy has $16K to put down, but can't find a loan... He has an average credit score of 720 and they still say no. I brought the boat to the bank (US Bank) and the lady said they won't loan on a boat five years old without 50% down!

It's still for sale until someone can actually come up with the money.

cat should try going with someone like Intercoastal Financial or one of the boat specific lenders, as opposed to a traditional bank. Would do it for as little as 15% down i think, no matter what year it is ...

Thats very odd, I had qualified for two different loans for new/used boats with only 10% down just a few weeks ago. As long as the boat was newer than 2001, I got the lower rate, if it was older the rate jumped .5%. With almost 50% down, the buyer should have no trouble getting a loan. (of course with that much down, it might have to be shorter term)

I would suggest looking at other boat-specific lenders like obd666 mentioned.

Thanks for the suggestions, I forwarded them to him. He offered to pay me $40K with the $15K down and for me finance the rest for him. I said NO WAY!

One of my crew is infatuated with belly buttons, he is a bit strange that way. All was talking about was belly buttons all day. But he was tearing it up, so I guess it was acceptable. U going out on Saturday?

We pretty much go every Saturday. That is how I have 1,000 hours on a 2006, 94% of all Saturday's over five years. I will go every Saturday until the boat sells, if it ever does.

We going camping on 6/4-6/5 if you want to come. Bring your boat it should be fun.

Just an FYI, I let a potential buyer pay for a compression and leak down test since he saw this thread and was worried about the hours and oil change intervals.

I have the full report for anyone interested. The engine tested almost perfect with only 3% difference from the high and low cylinders for leak down and 5 PSI difference from the high and low on compression. I will try to scan in the report when I get a chance.

The guy doing the test says that the engine tests out almost perfect and is in great shape.

He hasn't came up with any money yet and I don't think his wife is going to let him buy it.
