    1991 Ski Nautique closed bow

Greetings, bit of a newb here as we are not Nautique experts but we do love our boats and really love this one . . . but it has to go due to pending college tuition and other boats/vacation home already in the stable.

This is a truly beautiful boat – 1991 Ski Nautique in classic red and black. We are the second owners at the same location. Boat has only been used on Deep Creek Lake in Western Maryland (we live in Annapolis but have a place at the lake and she stays there). Inside heated storage in winter with custom cover to keep the dust out. Stored on trailer with cover during the summer and never kept in the water for more than a few days at a time when we visit.

Completely stock – no ballast/towers/add-on towing devices installed so you can run it as a classic Nautique or upgrade to your wake-making desire.

    Details:

    • PCM 351
    • Brand new Sony marine cd/mp3 with iPod input and fresh Alpine marine speakers in black and gray to match interior perfectly.
    • January 2009 – recondition and tune prop
    • June 2009 – motor removed to replace oil pan, rear main seals and gaskets; new blower and new starter, fresh hoses and belt
    • New a few years ago:
o Complete replacement with new factory carpet
    o New Upholstery throughout
    o Glove box
    o New Ignition
o Custom sunbrella fitted cover with all-new support poles, snaps and gunwale buttons
    o Speedometers
    o Factory Decals
    o New oil cooler
o $5500 in repairs – all completed by Bill’s Marine, authorized Nautique dealer and one of the best in the business. All receipts in-hand and available for inspection.

    • Also includes 2002 Correct Craft trailer that has new wheels, bearings, tires, bunks and carpet in the last three years (tires have less than 50 miles total on them). The trailer itself is unattractive because it needs fresh paint and fenders but it’s in perfect condition functionally and all elements work.
    • Will include spare tire on trailer mount, anchor, fire extinguisher, 4 life vests, bumpers and owner’s manual.

As you can see this boat has been maintained with an open checkbook and no expense spared. Properly winterized every year and fresh lube-oil-filters-and fuel treatments to prevent ethanol issues. Ready to splash and ski/ride today.
Again, we hate to sell her as this is truly a beautiful boat that has served us well but college tuition is staring us down . . . One of the best looking Nautiques on the lake --- everyone always has something nice to say about this boat – it’s a charmer! – give her a good home now at $10,200.

Thanks for looking and feel free to call for more details at 410-991-8679.

Hmmm. A bunch of views but no inquiries? I know I'm not an expert on these boats but I thought this was priced right. Can I get some feedback from the more knowledgeable folks who frequent this forum? Is it not a price thing but a matter of being located some distance from the wake/ski epicenter of the world? (I know Maryland isn't know for its world class opportunities for riders/skiers but we do have a lot of water -- for what that's worth ).

Nonetheless, any insight to help guide me toward a fair sale of this great boat would be appreciated.

    Thank you!
    Paul

Desperately seeking some advice here . . . George-Washington University tuition, room and board = $56k per year. Nautique needs to go. Is it just too early in the year to sell a mid-atlantic boat?

I don't think your asking price is out of line. We're looking for a similar boat to keep at our family cottage, so we don't have to tow our primary boats up there, and your pricing is about what we're seeing in the market. We're more in search of a SNOB right now, otherwise we'd be interested in yours. You should also list it on
ski-it-again.com for some added visibility, if you haven't already, and possibly correctcraftfan.com.

Approx. 700 hrs. We're about 3 hrs from where she's stored and haven't splashed yet this spring. Hoping to do so this week so I can double-check meter for exact figure. Thanks!

More pix of her sitting on trailer from this weekend. Also, confirmed hours at 675 exactly on meter. Note also I was encouraged to place on Ebay . . . lots of bidding, none at my number yet but getting close. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...%3AMESELX%3AIT
