My Family upgraded to a 2000 Sport Nautique. We were not planning on buying a new boat but the deal came around and we could not pass. So, there is really no need for us to have two sitting around. We are the 2nd owners of this '90. We bought it in '92 from a great family friend with 75hrs on it.
1990 Ski Nautique Red and Black
351w Ford 240hp (1400 hrs)
Electronic ignition
Top end of motor done around 900 hrs (general maintenance)
Manifold gaskets replaced at 1300 hrs
New carb kit 2010 (1300 hrs) and the motor runs great
Custom Red cover made for the boat when purchased new
Dry/Solid Floor/no rot in the stringers and no wet foam
Back seat gets used twice a season, looks brand new
Interior in very very good condition. Passenger seat bottom and driver seat bottom just now starting to split in a couple places on seams (pretty good for original vinyl).
No shoes allowed in the Nautique.
Always garaged when not in use, trailered a mile each way to the ramp and back on weekends. Trailer has less than 2000 miles and is a factory option RED in color to match the boat.
After use, put in garage with fans on the ceiling and open up interior to dry carpet, floors out (even if they're not wet).
Handles/steers better than any other inboard boat I've driven (MC, Malibu, other Nautiques, etc).
Diamond plating on the trailer instead of carpet and wood.
14X16 stock propeller will go with the boat.
The stock pylon will also go with the boat.
I can promise this boat will make you a great all around ski boat. It has served us so well for so many years.
