The guy I bought the boat from kept it on Lake Travis and did not have a trailer. I retained the trailer from my prior 1994 Mastercraft and use that to haul the boat on short trips, which the dealer said was fine. The boat is currently on the 1994 trailer. It works fine for short trips, but if you were going to trailer it extensively for long distances you might ultimately want to get another trailer or modify the trailer a bit to ensure a good supported fit for the longer trips.

Great looking boat. Regarding the trailer, that boat is only 2" longer and about 2" wider amidship than the 94 205. I used to have a 93 205 and my father in law has a 98 205. Having a fair amount of experience with these two trailer (but admittedly not having actually taken measurements), I'm not convinced the two trailers are any different.
