My cousin bought a nearly identical 99 this summer in San Antonio. Paid quite a bit more than that though. Don't have the pictures from that CL ad, but wouldn't be surprised to learn that those are the same pictures.

Or maybe it's drought pricing.

its been on cl for a while, but i dont think there are that many true skiers that know a great boat, san antonio people seem to just want a giant wakeboard boat to go party. the price started around 14K i wanna say and has steadily go down over the last 2 months. here is another one also

I just got off the phone with 'Rob' boat sounds legit, he bought it about a year ago. But just bought an 02 MC 208/X9 with ballast...

He thinks the 196 has 5.8L Carb Motor, with about 640 hrs, no Perfect Pass, but new uninstalled stereo... Sounds like its worth a look if your ok with a non-EFI boat.

I bet if you put your boat up for sale at that price you wouldnt get a single email right now. The market is dead. I just saw a 2001 SAN in Seattle sell for $17500 and a 03 226 team in Gig Harbor sell for $28k. I have a 2007 F23 tomcat for $35k and not a single email, the thing blue books at $55k even though that means nothing.

So are Rob and Jason the same dude? Those two SN craiglist links in this thread are the same boat (you won't even have to look closely to tell). Sounding more and more like a scam to me.
