Pair of Wedge tanks and 4 Rule 1100GPH pumps-2002 SAN

Got the itch this week to pull the boat out of storage and start changing over the stock ballast system to something a little more bulky. With the tanks and pumps pulled, I have all this extra gear lying around, with not much use for..Is there any interest anymore for a pair of wedge tanks and 4 Rule pumps?..The boat is new to me last year with only 200hrs on it, hence the pumps and tanks are in great condition.

Any suggestions for asking price? Also, I invite anyone to offer up a bid who may be interested...BO for everything!!

    Thanks

Just an FYI that those are not true "wedge" tanks my advice is to pull the senders out and junk the tanks! I just pulled my wedge tanks out too, nobody gonna buy them as for pumps I added 2 250 lb fat sacs under each side of my bow under seats I used those 4 pumps to fill and empty them! 3 rule pumps running off the factory center thru hull!

I figured the pumps and sender units would be the most desired items..This weekend I'm installing new Johnson pumps and 400# fat sacs in the rear and by the sounds of it I will save the rule aeroator pumps for the ballast in the bow..Thanks for your help!!

Nice ya I'm using Johnson's for my rears but I went with 750lb sacs not much point swapping hard tanks for just 400lbs IMO. You should look on wakemakers.com at there blem bags, I think a pair of those tige bow sacs would fit very nicely under those now seats!! I had a pair of the xstar bow bags laying around and they fit pretty good I had to reposition my heater on the driver side and I took the divider wall out on the port side, oh and cut the cooler out too lol I elected to use separate bags rather than the single v since I mostly surf and I find it's better to keep the weight to one side.

Personally, I thought the rear stock ballast tanks were closer to 250#/side...is this correct or incorrect? When you updated your plumbing, did you also install in-line valves that control the water flow, eliminating having to open/close the seacock valves? Also, when you plumbed in your 750's how many quick release valves did you use?? Any pictures or procedures detailing your installation would be of great help.

Used 2 quick connects on each rear bag, fill/drain and overflow. As for the front and center running aerators I will be running the fill hoses up under the dash Then have PVC U-bends then back down to the tanks/bags this will allow me to leave the seacock open and not have unwanted filling. The Johnson pumps don't allow water to pass thru them up to reasonable pressure so the high loop is not nessasary.

Factory tanks are between 250-300lb your gonna need more than 400 for serious wakes

I'm actually in the middle of my install as I'm also in the middle of a complete overhaul/upgrade of my 02 sante, I just finished all new black carpet , the whole interior is redone to match the 06 designs, it's too bad this site doesn't have a project section, I have plenty of pics on my iPhone, including the ballast install this far and the 3 aerators running off the factory center thru hull, that's a tight fit!!

Hey Vanislwake create a post in the maintenance and tech section under the DIY tab. I'd be keen to have a look at your project pictures.
