I had a cover made for my SV-211 from cover sports and when I tried to put it on it was about 8-10" too short from covering my bow. I assumed that the pattern was possibly for a Nautique 210. Emailed cover sports and they said to send it back and they would check the pattern. They emailed me back and said they have the exact pattern made for an SV-211. They sent it back and I took the boat and the cover to a marine shop in Indianapolis and we put it on again and they agreed with me and said there is no way this cover fits this boat. They thought the same thing, the cover is made for a 210 model. So, I need to sell this cover to pay for the one I am having made currently. I have $750.00 in the cover and that is what I need out of it. It is a very nice cover made with excellent craftsmanship in it. The cover is black in color. Any questions at all, feel free to email me at csizelove@comcast.net or my cell at (765)730-4618.

what tower base pattern does it have (openings for 4 tower legs?) The description of the fit issue confuses me: as a former owner of a 211 I recall the 211 is 20'- 9", which is 3" shorter than the 210.
Did you try putting it on the bow first and then use the transom straps as shown in the photos on the CoverSports link at the top of the PN page?2010 Super Air Nautique 210 Team Edition

Remember, this cover is trailerable, and as such, needs to be TIGHT. That means it will be very precise, and may be difficult to put on. I know my Rankin is. It was also about 6" short when I first got it. They built them small to account for a certain amount of material stretch. What youre describing sounds normal to me.1990 Ski Nautique

If I put the cover on from front to back then I can't even get the zippers that go around the tower poles to even come together. If I start from back to front then everything lines up perfectly until you get to the bow and it is 6" too short with no way of stretching it over the nose. That is why I took it to a marine shop to get a second opinion. The experts said there is absolutely no way that this pattern is for my boat.

So I'm confused, are you selling this as a 210 cover or a 211 cover? If it is a 210 cover, what year/tower/etc? I'm not sure who is willing to pay full price for a 211 cover that seemingly doesn't fit or for a cover that might be for a 210. I own a CoverSports cover and agree with the other posts. It has to go on bow first and the cover is definitely made to stretch over time. Did you cut the cinch rope where it needs to go around the tower base? The buckles need to be installed after the cover is on the boat. Pictures would also be helpful.2003 SANTE

If most features on the cover line up, then I would wager a guess that its the right cover. 6-8" short (unstretched) is about right. It sounds like you could use a tutorial on how to put it on properly... I know I could have used one the first time! Post some pictures and someone will help you.
I also agree that no one is likely to be interested in a cover that youre telling them wont fit, especially at full price.1990 Ski Nautique

The cover is made to fit a 211 from what coversports is telling me. I have no problem with coversports at all. It is an excellent cover and it probably will fit a boat that has a factory tower on it. My tower was installed by N3 boatworks when I bought the boat and I told coversports that when I wanted a cover made and requested to take measurements first but they said that wouldn't be necessary. Their solution was for me take move the tower back instead of someone trying to modify the cover. NO THANKS!

That non-factory tower install makes all the difference in the world- thats definitely the cause of the problem. Im surprised Coversports said it would be ok not to measure... Rankin required EVERYONE to measure the location of their tower feet- even those people with factory towers. Id say it was their fault it doesnt fit!1990 Ski Nautique

I had a cover made for my 1996 Nautique Super Sport from Cover Sports. My boat has a New Dimensions FCT tower installed by New Dimensions before I bought the boat. I told brent 2 or 3 times I could measure for him but he told me it he did not need them. Well my cover came and the two front tower holes were about 7" to far forward. The factory FCT tower on a 2000-2001 SAN looks like it has more rake then a ND tower. Neither of us knew this before giving brent the go ahead.
I cut the cover he sent me to where the holes should be and sent the cover back. The new one is coming back right now. He sewed on a whole new front end on the cover from the windshield forward since everything else fit great. I paid return shipping1996 Super Sport Nautique
