It does have an adjustable bow stop and it is positioned for the shortest possible setting in the picture. I took it to my local trailer shop to look at the rust. There are two main spots both are where the wiring splits and enters the beams to go the length of the trailer for running an break lights. Port side is the worst I will be happy to repair that or credit my estimate against the price. ($100 approx).***Also, replaced the wiring about three seasons ago, all lights work and rear lights are LED. All wood and carpet replaced about three years agoas well, all rust spots sanded and covered with rust inhibitor at that time, then touched up with matching paint. There are still a few spots of rust inhibitor that I missed with touch up.
