Im selling my brand new Syn 6. I've had it for about a month or so, and it's only been installed for about 2 weeks, going on 3. I still have the box and everything that came with it. I'll post pics in the morning. $765 shipped. Firm.

I haven't customized my boats sound systems from factory. How much difference will this amp make over the stock amps?

i'm not very familiar with a 200 factory stereo. how many in boat speakers do you have, do you have a subwoofer, and what amp(s) do you have now? i'm not going to let you spend a fair amount of money on something that isn't going to help you.

I am close to purchasing another 210. It has the 6 internal speakers, 2 rotating tower speakers, 2 horn drivers on the tower and the subwoofer.

there's alot of things you could do with this amp in that case. one nice thing is that you could power a subwoofer very nicely while still powering tower speakers or in boat speakers. this amp is very versatile. you would have perfect power to the horn speakers using channels 1&2; 3&4 bridged on the syn 6, and still have channels 5&6 open. or it could power your in boats and a sub. i'm sure someone else could chime in on your exact setup options. i know you have to get a certain package to get the bow speakers, and i'm not sure if that forces you to get the amps, but i'd honestly go wet sounds. i am biased towards the brand, but i've had a lot of amps in my boats and in my vehicles and there's two brands that i know i can depend on to do a good job. wet sounds is one of them.

The 210 has the two factory amps. What advantage will the Syn 6 have over the factory amps? I want to set it up so the internal boat speakers are on the front fader (on the Clarion head unit) and the tower speakers are on the rear fader.

To be perfectly honest, I don't think using this over your amps will provide much of an advantage. I'd love for you to buy it, but, I think a 420 is more what you need. You may be lacking in some tower power though.

Thanks for the honest opinion. Without changing out the speakers as well, I wasn't sure an amp upgrade would be of any benefit.

no problem. enjoy your new boat! it's not a big deal if i don't end up selling this amp, but im trying to switch to an HT-4 which would give me 300w rms to each pro 80, and take up a lot less room in my tiny old '05 210. Just can't justify spending the money yet since i just got this amp less than 2 months ago. i don't do ebay or anything so this is only place the syn is for sale. enjoy your saturday everyone.
