    2000 Air Nautique Driect Drive

I have decided to sell the boat I bought 2years ago. There is NOTHING wrong with the boat it has performed great after working out a few bugs. I believe I have put about 50+ hours on the new motor. The ONLY reason I am selling it is I found anouther boat (newer) that a friend is making me a smokin deal on. Boat is sitting on a hydrohoist on a lake 1 hour north of Birmingham AL if you want to go for a test ride. Here is a link to the build thread:
    http://www.planetnautique.com/vb3/sh...-rebuild/page2

    some of the Good:
    1) New motor (has about 50+ hours on it). I bought the boat with a blown up motor I believe the motor frooze on the previous owner and then they ran it until it blew up. I have completely gone threw everything the boat runs AWESOME....
    2) 422 prop
    3) set of Defcon Air Nautique Billet can tower spearkers with an Orion 300 watt amp
    4) Air Nautique swivel board racks
    5) Beautiful teak swim platform
    6) XM radio
    8) 440 +or- hours on the boat 50 + or- hours on motor ( I can remember exactly how many hours but I will get it this weekend)
    9) complete boat/platform cover New in May of 2010

    Some of the bad:
    1) the gel coat is faded but it might compound and buff out
    2) there are scraches all over the gel coat (no clue what the previous ower did)
    3) The factoy ballest tanks have been removed (had a hose that was leaking) I was planning to put in fat sacks instad of the factory tanks but I havent done it yet I was going to do it this winter when I removed the interior to replace it and have the boat wrapped.
    4) there are stains and some small tears in the interior(no clue what the previous ower did)
    5) Boat could use a good clean up and I will do this before you come to get it.

Trailer has new tires. The trailer is a galvanized trailer it is a BIG trailer for the boat but pulls great. The boat was towed from San Antonio TX to Birmingham AL. The has been on a hydrohoist ever since it has been back in the water (May 2010). We were just out in the boat for the 4th of July it ran great

If you want more pictures just PM me and tell me what you want pictures of. I am looking to get $15,000 OBO for the boat.

Could you send me a PM what the boat sold for. I have a similar boat and am toying around with the idea of upgrading.

I bought my 01' for $19k. But it was in pristine condition with a good trailer and lots of goodies thrown in. My $0.02.
