With a 2 year old and a new job, I am not getting to use the boat as much as I would like. I bought it, gave it a tune up and have about 40 hours on it. I have two Jabsco pumps, bags, cover, galvanized trailer, cleaning supplies and all the gear you need to get on the water.

(The boat was originally a fresh water, bought it last year from Orlando and installed a closed cooling system because I run in brackish water. Still flush after each use, too.)

you can get the newer air graphics for around $200 per side that will update it a bit and should make it a lot more attractive to buyers. you should at least get your money back and it will probably sell faster.

I agree with Seth. Those are the best graphics package made to date by CC. The things that make this boat harder to sell arenot its graphics or vinyl. It is the single axle galvanized trailer and the fact that it was used in brackish water for the last year. Assuming that it is in good condition as the OP states, I think it is priced appropriately and will sell, it just may take a little longer, because he will likely need to wait for another person who will be using the boat in brackish or salt water (or someone who is close by who can drop by to confirm condition). Not many people will drive across country sight unseen to pick up a boat that has been in salt or brackish water, so that eliminates a good size of the market in used SANs. But someone local or someone who needs a salty will likely snap this boat up.

I have to agree with Chexi, it looks like just about all upholstery needs to be replaced, but he seems to be asking an appropriate price. It has the makings of a great winter fixer upper. Heck, I'm tempted to look further into it but my wife may throw me out of the house.

The graphics have really grown on me. So much so, that my wife made vector graphic files for when they need to be replaced. As for the boat, it is still for sale. I have had one or two serious parties, but they haven't worked out. Besides the brackish water use, I take a lot of effort to keep things clean and corrosion at bay. I whip down the engine and flush after each use, never let water sit in the hull, use touch up paint as necessary and have gone through all my connections with a wire brush and dielectric grease. I knew that bringing the boat into brackish water would automatically decrease its value and make a future sale difficult, so I might just be stuck with it. Although, my son is doing really well in the boat and we have been able to go out with just the three of us, so things may be looking up.

As for the interior, yes, a lot of it needs to be replaced, but is completely functional. I am trying to prolong the life of the interior by using a cleaning mix of TA every couple weeks and wipe down with 303.

(Also, galvanized trailers are much more common here in Florida and do not automatically mean saltwater use. This was actually a fresh water boat up until a year ago.)

Nice boat for a fair price. Don't change the graphics! They are old skool cool!

I hope you can use the boat more often, otherwise; good luck with the sell.
