Bassman - I'm confused now. I have been following your post over the last couple days. First nice boat. Love the colors.

I was going to reach out to you through PM on how to get your wife interested in the 230. I'm still willing to help. The reason for my confussion is the fact that you stated the 230 was to big of a boat for her to handle, but in your ad you are looking to trade for a pontoon? Not sure if you have driven a PT lately, but your 230 will out handle a PT in forward and reverse. So I'm not sure how going to something bigger is going to make a difference for you.

My wife and I always call our 230 the "pontoon on steroids" because it has the room of a pontoon but you can also wake board and surf behind it! The 230 is everything a pontoon is PLUS a lot, lot more.

The difference is - I'll be driving the pontoon and leaving it at our lake property. She hasn't decided what runabout or ski boat she wants yet. She wants a boat with a smaller wake 1st and then better control. I already have a 70mph Bass Boat - so we are going to end up with 3 boats.

I think it should be around the 58 - 59 k mark you boat looks really clean. There is a 2008 230 SANTE in perfect condition with 110 hours that is Green in showroom condition sitting in a dealer in central cal and they have been asking $60K and its been for sale for over 7 months. ( boat is listed on boat trader). I paid 3 months ago $57k for my 2009 230 SANTE with a FCT3 and Z5 Bimini that had 200 hours. ( had to drive to 12 hours to get it though. )
