Black and Blue 2007 Super Air 210 with Zr6 in Orlando area: buyer beware

Not my boat, but here is the link: http://www.boattrader.com/listing/20...Edition-371540

Seemed like a good deal so my buddy checked it out. His conclusion: pretty much all the seat skins need replaced, and half the boat has gel coat blisters. The sano on the platform is all cracked, gauges foggy, dashboard is faded/beat up and would need painted with vinyl paint. Mechanically he said it seemed all good, Orlando Nautique just replace the rudder assembly, cables, etc so they said everything works ($7500 in repairs). Just speculating here but it seems that it hit something but didn't notice damage to gel coat other than blisters. Its not priced bad for what it is, it would need work but the gel blisters may scare off some buyers. Recommend not buying sight unseen. Might be a good boat for someone with some vinyl replacement skills.

That doesn't sound like a good deal at all. 2007 was the least desirable year for that hull. The boat is in bad condition and has probably been in salt water. You can buy that year boat in good condition for close to that price.

Glad you posted your experience though - would hate for someone to get taken on that boat buying it sight unseen.
