Well I'm putting my 98 Air up for sale. No problems, just looking to upgrade to a SAN. Boat has just under 800 hours and has the 5.0L. If you followed my post called "98 Air Nautique Back to Life" you can see how far she has come in just a short amount of time. I bought this boat late last summer and dumped I don't even want to know how much time into it along with a portion of my bank account. It's been fun bringing this boat back to life, and now it's ready to get some use!!
Things I have done to the boat within the last 6 months:
-Replumbed factory ballast and added 2,000gph pump
-Replumbed both bilge pumps
-Replaced rub rail around entire boat
-Painted Flight Control Tower
-Painted windshield trim
-Tinted windshield 20%
-Removed old graphics, sanded and buffed gelcoat, put new graphics on
-Replaced hubs and bearings on both sides of the trailer
-Replaced various shocks for the compartments around the boat that were worn out
-New distributor, cap and rotor, plugs, and plug wires, fresh oil and filter
Boat also has 3 board racks. The 2 racks shown in the pictures each hold 2 boards. The other board rack not shown hold 4 boards. Have bimini that is not installed but have all of the hardware to install, it is a tower mount bimini Interior is original and in fairly good shape for being so. Few small areas where seams are giving way, but no big holes or rips. Boat has a full cover and also has the cover for just the bow area. Boat is VERY clean, as I stripped all of the interior, ballast tanks, gas tank, and flooring out over the winter to deep clean and repipe ballast and bilge. Also have 2 extra fat sacs and a pump for them I would consider selling with the boat for the right price. Both sacs are 370 lbs and each fit in the rear locker and the mid locker. Boat runs great.
