Free: hard ballast tanks pulled from 2005 SV-211 TE

I pulled the hard tanks for my 2005 SV 211 Air Nautique team addition. I put soft bags in the compartments in their place. The water level sending unit is in tact working, with wiring. Barb connectors are in great shape. See attached photos. Local pick up would be easiest. I can ship if you pay. Tanks are free.

What soft bags did you replace with? Does it give you more weight?

The guys at wakemakers.com were really helpful and set me up with a "tank buster" kit. Comes with everything you need and members here get a discount too. 600 lbs on each side. I think the hard tanks are roughly 250 lbs on each side.

Any takers on the tanks?

I'm wondering if these hard tanks will fit my 1996 Super Sport. I'd be interested if they do fit. Is the plumbing of water lines and pumps very difficult to accomplish?

J-fish can you us the factory installed pumps or do you replace the pumps?

mr_454ss: I used the factory pumps and lines. Everything worked really well and very simply.
Tryathlete: I am not sure if they'll fit. Does anyone else know? There is a drain port on the bottom of the tank that protrudes and would require the tank to be elevated if there is no depression in the floor of the spot you'll be putting the tank.
