2002 SAN Teak Swim platform oversize

I purchased my 2002 SANTE last year and the previous owner had just installed an oversize teak swim deck. One which fits perfect but I believe is from a 220 model. Its longer than the stock swim deck and screws right into the stock brackets. I'm in the process of restoring the boat and want to go with the stock swim deck that came on these 2002 model year SAN boats. Anyone interested in trading their stock 2002 SAN swim deck (that's in good shape) for this larger one? Its only been installed for a year and the boat is garage kept so the teak is in really nice shape (see picture).

Being that I am in Alabama, probably wouldn't be worth our trouble. But I can still get you dimensions if you need them.

Sure if you could get me those dimensions I would appreciate it as I'm curious to know how much smaller the stock deck is compared to this one I have. Here is another pic of it for the thread and the width and length dimensions at the widest points.

I can tell looking at the pics that it is quite a bit bigger. I think I remember seeing the thread where someone changed to this platform and thought it was pretty cool.

I am pretty sure that the only boat with the notches for the lifting rings in the platform is the 210. So that platform is correct for your boat. There was an option for a teak platform instead of the fiberglass. Maybe that is what the original purchaser ordered.

I think in the original post the guy cut the notches for the lifting ring.

WIth this deck here the notches are original (not cut out after the fact) and given the perfect fit on the transom I'm sure Scarbs is correct, this is most likely for a 210 not a 220 like I first thought. Must be from a later model 210 (2003 and up?) when they changed to a bigger swim platform. I should just keep the thing, it would be hard to find a 2002 model swim deck in as good of shape as this one and I may come to find I prefer the larger swim deck area when just anchored down in a cove.

Good choice. I don't think you'll ever regret it.

I just went and looked at the platform on my 03 210. It looks identical to the one you have. I didn't even know they increases the size of the teak platform.

If you're still interested I just got my hands on a 2002 SAN. It has the smaller teak platform you're talking about. I'm looking for the composite bigger platform, but can see using something like the one you have as well. Let me know if you still want to trade yours, I'm in California as well.

No kidding, what a small world.. I'll try to take pics later on today if I get a chance.. the platform looks very dry, but no cracks or deep scratches.. I was planning on rhino coating it in the mean time instead of treating the teak.. I literally just got the boat about 2 weeks ago and haven't taking it to the water, plan on working on it throughout winter
