Could you send the interested 220 owners a paper template to see how your plates may matchup with the 220? I know there are other fit issues, but that might be a starting point? A 220 with NSS plates would be an insane surfer!

Are these the trim tabs you use for the 230/220? Cheapest price I've found especially with the wiring extensions. Lenco 15088-101 4" x 12" Limited Space Trim Tab Kit-Short Actuator $383 plus free shipping. This is a set, so its for 2 tabs etc.

Yep, the 15057-001 are the one I use. In this kit you get 2x free extension, nice deal. You could "probably" sell the rest....

No. Only for the 220 and 230/236
