    New Bowstop/Crashpad $100

I purchased the new bow stop/crash pad from Correct Craft 5 months ago and have recently modified my ramlin trailer with a swingable tongue/bow roller stop and no longer need it.
It is the more recent version that uses winch, turnbuckle, and stopping plates w/o carpet. This version can be used on all trailers with the older version of the bow stop w/carpet. It comes with all mounting accessories, which includes: base, plate, and bolts. The bow stop is in excellent condition and does not come with the Shelby Winch Model #5404 because I used it on my new tongue design. However, they are not expensive ($25 w/o hook and strap) and available at http://www.lowcosttrailersupplies.com/M ... S/CTGY/SHW

    Asking $100 Paid $288

Please let me know and I can send pictures of bow stop if interested.

    RE: New Bowstop/Crashpad $100

This could be a very nice and simple upgrade for someone. Looks like it is the style that pivots forward so you can slip the boat cover on too.

Do you know what the dimensions are? (How high) Does anyone know if it will fit a '93 Barefoot Nautique / Nautique Excel trailer, or was it made for a Ski Nautique? If it would fit the Barefooter, I'm definately interested!! :!:

I would imagine it would work. If you look closely at the pic, you can see where the rub rail contacted the crash pad. I wouldnt think the BF would be so much taller as to come in over the pad, but ICBW.

From the top of the main (square tubing) part of my trailer, to the center of my rub rail is about 31". The overall heighth of my current carpet coverd crash pad is about 34-1/2", measuring from the same point on the trailer. I'm not sure if it mounts the same (on the bottom) either. Anybody know for sure? :???:

Tomfooter, the bowstop measure the same from the trailer 3"X4" frame to the top of the bowstop frame (31"). The pad's do stick up further than that.....about 3" to 5".
I assume you have a base 6"x3" that your bowstop slides into? 2 bolts.
This "new" style bowstop was put onto a 96 single axle trailer. You can call CC and ask....I did in order to make sure a 2004 bowstop would mount on a 96 ramlin.

                    Hope this helps.

If available, would you sell just the "pads" and if so how much?

I don't think it will work on my '93 trailer. Judging from your photo, the bottom attaches to the trailer different than mine. Thanks anyway!
