WTB: Flight Clips for 2001 Air Nautique

I finally purchased and installed the tower on my '01 Air last fall. With the addition of my new boat cover and tower bimini I'm all set....EXCEPT for board racks! Hence, I'm looking to purchase a pair of Flight Clips that will fit my tower. Does anyone have a set they're looking to get rid of? If so, let me know.

Have you used flight clips?

This is like the 3-4th flight clip post I have seen recently and wondered if the people looking have actually used FC's?

IMO and it is only an opinion, I wondered why anyone ever went out of their way to get flight clips.

Deuce, what do you suggest then? I just want to get my boards off the floor. Maybe I am using the term flight clip to general. I mean any type of board rack that will fit my tower.

I have Boss racks on my current boat....not that I think Boss racks are any better than many of the racks out there. I had Fluid Concept racks on my previous boat and think they are great. There are MANY racks out on the market that are half the cost of flight clips and IMO, worth twice as much.

I was never a fan of the old FC's & even went out of my way to talk with the Correct Craft rep at the boat show the year I purchased my current ride. It appears that FINALLY CC saw the light so to speak and changed their design this year.

Spinner racks are now the thing and if I was purchasing again, I would have them in a heartbeat. Again, my opinion is formulated pre-'06 racks.

I have CC flight clips on my boat, they work OK, a bit of a pain getting around the bimini to access them and the bungees are not the best. I have mine as wide apart as they can be and can put boards or ski's in them. The best board rack I have ever seen or used were on a friends pickle fork Master Craft, pistol grip clamp system and swivel mount, very quick and easy. Don't know if they will hold ski's but they work great for boards.
