This is a 1995 trailer built by Correct Craft (before they passed off their trailer fabrication to Ram-Lin) that is configurable to fit the Ski Nautique Closed Bow, Ski Nautique Open Bow, or Sport Nautique boats of that era.
The trailer is structurally very solid, but it does have surface rust on the metal under the side steps, and the fenders also have some rust. The frame, axle, prop guard, and support bars are all very solid and mostly rust-free. It is missing some of the side marker lights, but the rear lights are there and are functional with the temporary wiring zip-tied to the trailer. This will obviously have to be replaced, but I have a complete new LED light kit with a complete new wiring harness that I will include with a full-price sale. The guide poles are missing, and will not be included in this sale.
The trailer does have brakes, but the system is not currently functional, and hasn't been for a long time. This is normally not an issue for today's vehicles given that the weight of the trailer and any boat made to fit it is fairly low.
The wooden bunks might possibly be serviceable with just carpet replacement, but the wood on the side steps will need replacement, but this is an easy project. I'll include new black carpet for the bunks in the sale.
The trailer tires are probably good enough to move the trailer unloaded, but will need replacement before using the trailer with a boat for any real distance. I towed it about 300 miles a few months back with no issues.
I was planning to restore this trailer to use with a Ski Nautique that I am restoring, but I have another trailer that I have decided to use instead. This one could be restored fairly easily though, and original Correct Craft trailers are hard to find!
There is no title for this trailer, but I will provide a bill of sale, and (at least in North Carolina) I understand that is all you need in order to get a title for a trailer.
I have this listed on craigslist for $999 at the URL below, but for PN members, I'll sell it for less.
