Lake Tahoe might as well be Salt Lake City for me . It is 8 hours to there from my place.

And condition could be a real crapshoot depending upon how meticulous the owner is.

        Thanks,

        Doug

New to this group and just sold my bow rider looking to get into more of a ski boat. Currently looking at a 2006 Nautique 206 but not completely sold. looking for an all around/crossover boat. How is the wake for skiing?

Honestly, if you like to ski, there are better choices. The wake on these is pretty unforgiving for slalom. If you're into bare footing, it's not bad on a hundred foot line.

Just want to say thank you here. I'm loving this boat - been out twice since its arrival. Surprised at how much more solid the 210 SAN feels vs. DD Air of similar vintage. I guess the sides being higher and being a heftier boat creates that. This is most obvious crossing wakes, etc.
                    Enjoy your new boat!
I haven't tried the barefoot boom, but will do so and report back.
I very much like the retractable pylon!

Looks like post #23 says it's sold. In post #24 looks like 'DW SD' is the buyer and is enjoying his/her new boat.

tachyon--wondeing if the tower is up in the picture of the Beach King Lift? And how you like the Beach King lift?

                          Thanks.

                            Hey Johnny,
You have it right. An update... loving this boat. I've been doing some upgrades.

I added the 375 lb piggyback bags in the rear from Fly High and plumbed them in. Scored a deal on ebay between XMAS and Thanksgiving for $85, shipped for brand new.
I removed the PerfectPass speed controller and re-installed my Hydrophase unit from my old boat. It has a newer User Interface and is a little more adjustable in terms of holding a target speed.
I also adjusted the prop shaft seal (a pain in the *** job), but should be good for a while. I use in saltwater, so keeping water out of the boat is more critical than one used in fresh.
Installed a new tach from Speedhut to replace the OEM broken Faria unit.
Installed a high-altitude / high torque prop. Acme, CNC 1578.
Installed fresh water engine flush of my own design with parts from mcmaster.com
Will add an FAE surf - pipe soon.
                            Changed drivetrain fluids.
And added about 50 hours of use to it over about 12 1/2 day trips.

                            Thanks to Rick!

                            Cheers,

                            Doug

This is kind of becoming my build / modification thread.

I worked with Larry and team @ FAE to order an exhaust without their usual erector set mounting system. I fabricated my own and welded to their provided pipe. After fabricating my 3/8" stainless "strut loop" and flange mounts which screw in to the bottom of the teak platform, I TIG welded it to the FAE pipe. They shaved off $40 for their mounting hardware.
I proposed to them a similar mounting system with threaded rod, so rod ends and a yoked flange could be used to offer adjustability vs. the erector set mounting system.

I spent 3 or 4 hours fabricating. Hardest part was getting the curve to match the diameter of the pipe. I used a very large impact socket (2 1/4" Diameter) as a forming die and my bench vice and a larger piece of tubing to slip over the rod to aid in bending (cheater bar).
