    SV211 Transom Seadek

I have extra Seadek for a 2005 SV211 transom to replace the original sano pad. When I ordered it they had a minimum order, so they sent two sets and this has been sitting in my basement wrapped up since I got it. This is the five pieces for the transom only, not the swim platform.
The picture of the boat is just to show what it looks like on the transom, this doesn't include the swim platform Seadek.
    $50 shipped (U.S. only)

I see you've sold the SeaDek already. I am ordering for my '04 SV211 right now, and I'm wondering how you install on the swim deck? Do you have to remove the black-non-slip-rubber-plastic stuff? Or do you install the SeaDek on top?

You definitely have to remove the black SANO pads. It actually comes up quite easy. I bought a pack of plastic putty knives to break the edge and they pull right up. Make sure you get every little piece of gunk, residue and dust off the fiberglass before you install. Acetone and a green scrubby worked best and then wipe clean with a microfiber. if you leave any dust or gunk behind it will be the first place you will get a bubble or peeling down the road. If you search the forum, I have a post of the progress on my install from a few years ago.

I sent seadek some images of the install since it was one of their first kits for the 211 and they posted them here:

cjacob06 Thanks for the great info! I'll post pics in a month or so once I'm done with the install. Hopefully it turns out as well as your's did. I actually found your boat on the interwebs last summer and that's what gave me the idea in the first place.

The lakes will thaw up here in Alaska next month...lookin' forward to the start of a good season.

Please do. I am looking to do something similar with a mix of Corinthian carpet and seadek.
