2003 Ski Nautique 206 Limited for Sale

Silver Cloud hull, deck and main stripe with midnight blue second and third stripe. 330HP excalibur engine. The is not a stripped down signature, it is a fully loaded Limited with options including jump seat, heater/defrost, hot and cold shower, PP6.4, Clarion 6 speaker with CD player, matching sunbrella bimini and custom cut full mooring cover that covers down to waterline. Trailer is midnight blue Ram-lin with silvercloud pinstripe and spare tire. This is a Promo boat used for Kansas INT and I am a very meticulous owner. As of August 1 the boat has only 70 hours. Every 25hrs the oil has been changed and the complete boat including the hull will be waxed and detailed. It is kept on a lift at a private fresh water lake under a covered dock.

This boat comes with transferable warranties. It will be available for delivery in October.

Can you post a few pictures? Is the trailer a single or tandem axle? Does it use the pads for the nose of the boat to push against?

I will try to get some pictures this weekend. They will be on the water pics if that is ok.

The trailer is single axle with a front V pad. The Ram-lins are using plastic front V pads so they do not tear up you rub rails. I like it much better then the Prestige, and the old Ram-lins. The Ram-lins are more expensive, but I think they are built better IMO. It also has a swing a way front tongue that allows you to swing it sideways without disconnecting your brake line. It also has a 5 pin light harness with a reverse brake lock out that helps when backing. I'll try to get you a picture of the trailer also. I will get a picture of the boat on the trailer, but it won't be this weekend.

I see you are in St. Louis, I am in the Kansas City area FYI.

          JJ,
From my understanding the 5 year warranty only goes to the original owner. Did you not register the boat? If so, wouldn't the buyer have the full five years? Just curious

JJ commented in his original post the boat is a promo boat...believe the rules are different for promo's.

              Warranty and pics

The new owner of a promo boat gets the remainder of all Correct Craft warranties at no cost to the buyer. There is a $100.00 fee charged by PCM to transfer their engine warranty, but that is cheep.

I am attaching photos of my boat, but I am not sure how the attachments are working on this website. I have had problems looking at other photos on other adds. If you want photos, I can e-mail them to you.

I included pics of the boat, interior, open bow and the custom cut full cover as it sits on my lift. I hope this works.

The pics look great. Can you confirm if a 68" ski will fit in the rear locker?

                  Ski Storage

A 68" ski will fit under the observers seat, but not in the rear storage. I think a 66" is the largest you can get in there. My ski is a 67.5 and I could maybe force it in the locker, but I'm not about to do that. There is also storage under the removable floor cooler. When we travel to tournaments, we put our skis under the observer seat, and misc. stuff in the rear storage.

We have an INT tournament at our lake this weekend, and we WILL be using this boat on Sunday for slalom and wide ride. Come on over and try it out. Wakeboard is Saturday, I can take you out after they are done. Then you can ski Sunday in the tournament. The Kansas Tour is one of the largest INT states. Last year at our tournament, we had 187 pulls on sunday. That is why we went to the two day format. You will see over 100 pulls in slalom alone this Sunday. Let me know if you need directions.

                    JJ's boat

Edwin, if you are in the market for a 206, this is the one. JJ was nice enough to give me a ride when I was in KC in the spring. That boat is the nicest I've seen. I wanted to buy it but financial issues are probably going to make me wait for a while. We just bought a new house and things are a little tight. My 99 SNOB will have to do for now.

                    Good luck.

Thanks for the heads up SGY. I went for a test ride / ski this evening behind a 206. Boat drove great, skied extremely well. My wife likes it as well, however she really liked the size of the 216 they had sitting in the shop. If I do decide to upgrade to a Nautique, it looks like it will have to be a 216.

FYI, We just held a ski clinic with Chris Rossi at our lake and used this boat. I pull Chris from 32 off through 1.5 @ 41 off @ 36mph. He ran 39 off twice. He loved the boat. He told me it skis and drives exactly the same as his girlfriends 196. He thinks the trick wake is even better.

I'll post some pics of the boat with Chris in it.

                        SGY, thanks for the post.

JJ...That is not correct information. Here are the details from Correct Craft.

Correct Craft will continue to offer ONE YEAR PARTS AND LABOR to the second owner of the boat AT NO CHARGE if the promo boat is sold to the second owner PRIOR to April 1st of the following calender/model year.

A special form for a promo boat sold in accordance with this policy can be obtained from your regional coordinator. The seller is responsible for completing the form and mailing it with a dated proof of sale to Correct Craft, Inc. of Orlando, "Attention: Warranty Deptartment." The completed form and peuchase receipt MUST be recieved by Correct Craft no later than 15 days after the boat is sold.

Just wanted to clear this up. If you need any additional information contact your rep or myself.

                            midohionautiques,
I just got off of the phone with Ken Meloon. He told me that there has been a lot of confusion in this area. He is going to have someone call me and clarify the warranty.

When I sold my '02 boat, I was told by both my dealer and by Mid-West that the remainder of the 5year was transfered. I was also told that the Limited Lifetime Hull, deck, and stringer warranty was also transfered. If the warranty is only one year like you stated, and and the Limited Lifetime is also not included, than I have been given some bad information.

When I get a clarification, I will pass it on. I hope Correct Craft would pass on more than just one year coverage.

                              midohionautiques,

Just received a phone call from Correct Craft, unfortunately both of us were incorrect. You were right about the 1 year parts and laborar at no cost, but it also includes the limited lifetime structural warranty. In addition to the Correct Craft warranties, you can transfer the PCM warranties through PCM. I believe it is three years on the vortec engines. It was 4 years on the GT-40s in '02. New for '04, the 5 year promise will be transferable, but they are not sure how they will handle the Promo boats. The transferablilty is already addressed on their website.

I hope this clears everything up about warranties. I'm not sure if they know what the clear answer is.
