This boat now has 82 hours on it as of September 8th. I will need to order my '04 soon so I am motivated to sell this flawless Ski Nautique 206. This boat skis and drives perfect. It is sitting on a lift and ready to test drive. You will not find a nicer Promo boat period.

      Pic boat hoist in garage

I just added a pic to my gallery showing this boat hanging from my hoist in my garage. This allows me to clean and detail the complete hull with ease. This helps keep the boat in brand new condition. When I built my home it was a cheap add on that works great!

why are you going closed bow? Also, didn't correct craft change the rules so that you have to turn the boat back into the dealer when you are done with it from now on? Just curious.

            196 vs. 206

Speaking for JJ (if I may) I think the reason for the 196 is because it is easier to sell in his area due to lake restrictions on boats over 20 feet. Even though CC will buy the boat back this year, the promo guys are still motivated to help the dealer sell the boat.

JJ's motivation to buy a 196 better not be because he didn't like the 206--because I bought his boat.

JJ: Fun drive back. Made it safe and sound. Thanks for all your help. The family loves the boat.

The 206 is a wonderful boat. Correct Craft really hit a home run. We really enjoyed it. in fact I was amazed how well it performed compaired to the 196. For all you closed bow, GT-40 fans out there (I am one of them), I would put the hole shot of the 206 excalibur up against any of them anyday. In fact at one of our tournaments with a very short set up, the 206 had no problem reaching speed before the pre-gates. The other promo ski boat, I won't mention names, but it was a 197 with a 6.0 385hp, had problems reaching speeds even before the entrance gates.

SGY was correct on the main reason we are going back to the 196. The lake I grew up on has a max length of 20 feet, and they measure every new boat. The 196 is the only 2004 Correct Craft boat that will fit on that lake. My 2002, 2000, and 1994 all sit on this lake. Another reason we are going back to the 196 is expense. Since we no longer are responsible for selling our boat, my wife and I can't justify the extra $5000 upgrade. We don't have any kids, so we never really used the open bow.

SGY, There is no doubt in my mind that you will love you new 206 even more on the lake then in your garage. We currently have two SNOBs on our lake and I prefer the 206, driving it especially. by the way, it is snowing here, yuck!

                JJ,
Who is your dealer in Kansas? I think we are missing that dealer on our list. If you give me the info, I can get it put up there. Thanks and congrats on getting your boat sold!

Our past dealer was Sport Boats USA. As Dec 1 it is now Skiers Warf Extreme. They are in the process of opening a Kansas City location in Blue Springs Missouri. The grand opeining is December 13th. When I get more info, I will share it with you.

BTW, Thank you for the great web site. My family has owned Nautiques since 1977 and I love to talk "Nautique" with anyone.

Don't thank me for the site. Luke and Daniel got it going and then NautiqueJeff jumped on to help and just recently, I jumped on to help. If you or anyone else ever has suggestions of what they would like to see on this site, speak up!! And I definately want the info on the dealer once you have it.
                    Thanks!!

                      206

JJ, snowing in Kansas City? Who would've thunk? I'm just glad I missed the weather pulling the 206 back to Denver. Hey, who's going to win, KC or Denver? I hear Denver is favored by 2.5 points. I'm going to the game to root on those Chiefs. (Once a Chiefs' fan, always a Chiefs' fan.) Hope I survive those rabid Bronco fans.

Here's to hoping for an early Spring.

                        Steve,
Chiefs all the way. You haven't spilled any beer on the carpet yet have you?

                        Keep warm.

                          Beer

Spilled any beer? Not yet. But, I just put it in my brother in law's garage. Thinking about going over tonight and craping a few open and sit in that fine machine.

                          Go Chiefs.
