I have 1 Rev 485 that is in, generally good condition. There is a catch to the price being so cheap, the horn in the center is in perfect shape, however, on both speakers the poly foam around the drivers are slightly deteriorated in a couple of spots. The speakers still play very loud and sound good, but not quite as good as they should.
I spoke to Wet Sounds and they will sell a pair of ICON 8s to an owner of a 485 for pretty cheap, couple hundred, and said it would be a good fit. I sold this speaker's other pair for $600, so I believe this is a bargain. Basically you are buying the housing and the horn. There are lots of 8" speaker options out there and you could easily replace/upgrade with any of them and have a really great pair 8" tower speaker set up. PM me for pictures.
