SOLD via ebay for about $425.
Hi All,
I have a new 2017 Island Surfer Swallow Tail - 5'2" for Sale. You'll note evo.com sells it now for $629.
I'm selling it as while I like it, I find it rides quite similarly to my Liquid Force DART. I want something more different than another surf-style board. I rode it for 1/2 an hour on one trip a few weeks ago after buying it a month ago. I plan to try a skim style board next.
I'm asking $500 shipped.
Note, it was damaged at the nose and one rear corner, very slightly in shipping to me. Instead of the hassle of returning, I live in a surf town and had it professionally repaired with the right epoxy resin. See photos.
Note 2, in the magnified views, there are no epoxy / gelcoat cracks. That textured look is intentional by Island Surfer. It was supposed to resemble denim or fabric.
Note 3, there is a very minor 2" long gelcoat scratch that will catch your fingernail on the bottom - this lines up to the surfer's knee on the bottom graphic. It is very very minor.
Note 4, There are no pressure dings of any kind.
Someone needs to come up with a better packing method for shipping these things!
That said, I will carefully pack and also pay for shipping within the CONUS. It will arrive in the original box.
The blemishes are very hard to find. Just want to be open and transparent.
It comes with the two new fins provided by Island Surfer.
Thank you,
Doug W.
