Recently sold my 2014 409 hp 200 OB. Looking for a great wake surf boat/occasional slalom ski boat. Several family members and I weigh 220 lbs and lake is at 2,500 ft elevation.

Are the wakes adequate for a big boy for wake surfing, without the rope?

Are there enough horses & torque to adequately pull up and tow big boy slalom skier with two big boys in the boat?

With the H5 you should be fine at your elevation I believe. The wave with the additional ballast that has been plumbed in is tall, long and has great shape. I have an 18 210 and we have one kid in our wakesurf program that is easily 300 lbs and another that is probably around 220.. The right board makes a big difference also but the wave definitely has enough push for them. It's not as strong as a G wave but it's much less expensive and the ski wake is still minimal for a wake boat.

I'd try to demo one if you can. It wouldn't have the additional ballast like this one but it would give you an idea of the shape of the surf wave and the ski wake.

Turns out that my buddy is going to keep this boat and try to sell next July. He had planned on buying our 2018 but it didn't work out this time. This boat is in great condition and will hopefully remain that way thru next year.

I guess that this boat might still be available. I thought the owner was going to keep it another summer but he'd like to sell yet this fall if possible.

Again, this was Nautique's photo boat for 2017. Plenty of pictures online or search the old walk through video from 2017. Great condition plus this had additional ballast installed to maximize the wave!
