Steering Cable Brand new from nautique parts original

We bought the original OEM. Dummy me didn't read the bottom of that page. This cable only fits the original helm. Ours was not.

The cable has been installed, but did not fit the helm. We ended up ordering new cable and helm. The big nut is scratched from taking it off and putting it in.

I'd like to recover some of my loss. It was 325.00 plus shipping.
Our boat is a 95 Super Sport

Need to check the link above, this is for the orginal helm. The bolt hole pattern on the rack is difference between the 2.

On PN website it says "Original Cable spacing- Center to Center: Short side: 1 3/8″ Long Side: 2 1/8”" but I have no idea what or where to measure??

TRIP, ours looked exactly like yours with one minor difference, the 4 bolt holes had different spacing. Indicating it had been replaced and was not original. A picture of the helm end wont ahow rhe difference, need to measure the 4 holes
