    JL Audio 8" In Boats for Sale

    Just curious how you were going to mount the 8s? Were you going to build pods for them?

      Yeah I was going to build pods. I actually broke down the interior sides and built the fiberglass backing, formed to the side of the boat. Just never moved on from there. Mixture of wife had twins, stupid busy at work, and realized I was a bit in over my head as far as fiberglassing skills go... Back plates actually turned out pretty good though. If anyone wants them to try to pick up where I left off.

        not to sell your speakers short, they are 8.8", so really almost nine inches. bump for a great set of speakers. throw 125 watts rms and they will sing.
